Nicci has worked for the past 23 years as a Midwife, Psychiatric and Community Health Nurse. She ran a Private Practice in S.A. attending to the needs of terminally ill and Geriatric Patients.
Nicci also founded and ran a company called, "NAKAKELA", which means "to care " , in SA , it was established to train care workers in the soft skills arena , using basic communication, kindness and empathy as tools to assist and care for patients,
She ran pilot projects in Private and government Hospitals in Johannesburg, introducing these concepts to all health care workers ,which also included worshops for nurses on 'Caring for the caregiver".
She made aliyah 2 years ago with her husband Brian, and their 3 children Josh, Hannah and Rachel
