Vera Freudmann

Vera Freudmann came to Israel from England in 1977 with her husband and four small children. Her first job in Israel was as typist for an author who gave her a lot of editorial freedom and a taste for writing. She has had both fiction and non-fiction published. For many years she taught English to adults, largely in hi-tech, and was involved in English drama in Israel for some time. Now she enjoys letting her many grandchildren fill her life and, when they allow, writing.

The photos look good-enough-to-eat in a cook book about an exotic cuisine, PersianFood from the Non-Persian Bride. Along with recipes, hints and tips Reyna Simnegar gives the reader the fascinating background to the Persian festivals and customs connected to the mouthwatering dishes.
