In September ESRA Modiin held its 3rd Music Lovers' Group with songs ranging from Irving Berlin to Simon and Garfunkel. The events are held to raise funds for Neve ESRA, an afternoon day-care center for children at risk. The next event, on December 11, will be "the (South) African beat".

The bookshop, which was opened in the Modiin Azrielli mall in 2010, has since raised hundreds of thousands of shekels for Neve ESRA, the Modiin day-care centre for children at risk. Lots of doubts were raised when Yoga was suggested as an ESRA activity. However unlikely it appeared initially, the three sessions of Therapeutic Yoga proved to be a tremendous success for both staff and pupils and will happily be repeated in the next school year.
