ESRA's secondhand shop in Raanana, called the Nearly New Shop is a treasure trove. Naomi Ariel explains that it is not only a shop for those in the need but where very good items are contributed and the general public like you and me go looking for a bargain.

ESRA will ensure that the students' bodies are nourished as well as their minds, for the duration of the school year. Having turned, not for the first time, to a wonderfully generous donor, we are pleased to say that with this help and ESRA's initiative, needy Ethiopian students at Bar Ilan University will receive a coupon for 10 meals per month.

ESRA Modiin has announced a new partnership with Modiin Ladies – ESRA, formerly known as the Modiin Ladies Circle. The two volunteer groups will combine efforts under the umbrella of ESRA in order to better serve the community.

Within the Students Build a Neighbourhood projects hundreds of plants and a number of trees were planted in a new community garden in the neighborhood. With the help of volunteers, and very genrous donations a beautiful garden was created.

Shimon Garfinkle applies his considerable computer expertise to collecting discarded, yet still usable, components and re-assembling them to distribute among deserving youngsters. All proceeds are donated to ESRA . Shimon and his wife, Edith, are active volunteers in many ESRA projects in Netanya.

Maestro Gil Shohat had the audience spellbound with his virtuoso performance held at the Sharon Hotel in Herzliyah Pituach in aid of ESRA’s Hand to Hand Pantry. Nelly Perry pays tribute to his generosity in donating his considerable artistic skills in “Enchanting Musical Evening with Gil Shohat.”
