Hilary Meir (Meyersohn)
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa , BA (Hons) in Logopedics from the University of the Witwatersrand. After coming to live in Israel in October 1960 and spending a few months at the first family ulpan, Meir worked as a speech clinician in the department of speech and hearing therapy (communication disorders) at Sheba Medical Center (then Tel Hashomer) which she helped to establish, at Assaf Harofeh and in the Neurological Rehabilitation Department at Sheba. Later, she worked in the Public Relations Department writing the "Shebaclips ", a bimonthly PR magazine in English updating the "Friends of Tel Hashomer" about new developments in medical treatment at Sheba.
After moving to Raanana in 1990, became a member of ESRA and has been involved in several ESRA activities which include (among others) tutoring at a Raanana high school and serving as a member of the ESRA Magazine Editorial Board and coordinator of the proofreaders.
